The Jamaica Teachers’ Association invites applications to fill the position of Regional Officer for the South Central Region (Clarendon, Manchester & St. Elizabeth) as of January 1, 2016.

Applicants should:

• Be members of the JTA
• Be professionally trained teachers with a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience
• Have at least a first degree from a recognized university
• Be knowledgeable about the JTA and the Jamaican education system
• Possess excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Be able to develop, implement and co-ordinate programmes and activities in the interest of teachers and education in the region.
