Property Accountant

A property management organization located in Kingston is seeking to fill the position of Property Accountant.

The core responsibility of the role is to ensure the complete and accurate posting of business transactions into the Peachtree application and to ensure the validity of the balances in the General Ledger as well as to ensure that monthly reports are available to the Board on a timely basis.
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a similar capacity
  • Achievement of Levels 1&2 of a recognized accounting program would be a definite advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of a PC based accounting system(Peach Tree, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Knowledge of accounting packages
  • High level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of administrative skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to use own initiative

SYSTEM SUPPORT OFFICER
