Boarding Representative - Perez y Cia Jamaica Ltd.

We are looking for a suitable candidate, to fill the position of Boarding Representative at Perez y Cia Jamaica Ltd.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Boarding of vessels (Tanker, Cruisers, Container, Bulk ship, Project cargo Vessels, Etc.)
• Coordination of vessel arrival pre planning and attending to vessel requirements on arrival
• Coordination of cargo operations with the terminal planners and stevedores
• Organizing the clearance and delivery of ships’ spares to the respective vessels
• Monitoring vessel schedules
• Monitoring crew changes
• Arranging Pilot, Quarantine and Immigration
• Coordinating all requirements/requests made by the vessel on each voyage.
• Responding to queries and enquiries in a timely manner
• Communicating with agents
• Communicating with customers
• Reporting

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

• A Bachelors Degree in Logistics and Supply chain management or Equivalent.
• Five (5) years experience in marine operations or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• The flexibility to work odd hours
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
• An aptitude for learning and mastering systems applications.
• A reliable motor Vehicle.
