Systems Administrator

 Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the College’s network infrastructure which includes software applications, network equipment, internet, server, PCs, etc.

 

Education and Experience

• At least a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from an Accredited Education and Training Institution.
• Certification in Networking, Hardware and Software.
• Be able to research, learn and implement new technologies.
• Sound knowledge of Hardware and Software concepts.
• Knowledge of electronics and communication systems would be an asset.
• At least three (3) years working in a corporate or educational institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems and replace defective components
• Provide administrative support and training for users.
• Install, configure and support the College’s network and internet systems.
• Make recommendations for new equipment, software and services as necessary.
