PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Applications are invited to fill the position of: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

This position is located in Annotto Bay, St. Mary and is responsible for ensuring that the products manufactured by the company are produced according to specifications and schedule and the raw material utilized is accounted for in the production process.

 

The incumbent should:

• Possess a first degree in Production Operations/Organizational Management with three years supervisory experience or a Diploma in
• Production Operations Management with 5 years supervisory experience, in a food manufacturing environment.
• Should reside in the Annotto Bay area
• Possess excellent supervisory skills
• Have knowledge of the production process from warehousing to finished goods
• Have excellent planning and organizational skills
• Have good communication skills, both orally and written
• Be proficient in the use of relevant computer applications

Main responsibilities will include:

• Make requisitions for raw materials in order to produce the required amount of products as planned
• Monitor the use of raw material at every stage of the production process
• Maintain daily production schedule and records
• Ensure that products are produced to specification
• Identify any variance in raw material usage on a timely basis (production analysis)

Salary scale: $933,049.00 - $1,109,102.00 per annum
