Finance Manager

A medium sized establishment seeks to identify an experienced Finance Manager to ensure the integrity of its accounting processes and its compliance.

Core Functions:      

·         Review, develop and maintain the necessary financial controls, systems and processes to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s resources and compliance requirements that minimizes financial risks.      

·         Analyze financial data to create budgets and prepare internal reports for strategic business planning decisions.      

·         Timely complete quarterly and annual regulatory schedules and filings within statutory requirements.       Develop, control and implement a program of internal audit to ensure that the company’s operation is carried out effectively with probity.

Key Competencies      

·         A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Management Accounting / Financial Management.      

·         Thorough understanding and application of current accounting principles, applicable laws, codes and statutory requirements.      

·         Able to control and track inventory within set limits and be accountable for adverse variances.       High level of accuracy and confidentiality.      

·         Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and accounting software programs is essential.

Qualification      

·         Bachelors of Science in Accounting / ACCA Level 3 or its equivalent from an accredited University.
