Senior Project Engineer (Design)

Job Summary      

·         Design of Civil Engineering works - particularly water and housing related infrastructure including water supply, wastewater and drainage systems      

·         Project Planning and Evaluation      

·         Implementation Scheduling      

·         Cost Estimating      

·         Design documentation, specification development and tendering      

·         Report Preparation and Presentation

Duties & Responsibilities (include but not limited to)     

·         Undertaking site investigations island wide      

·         Preparing preliminary engineering designs and feasibility reports on water supply, sewage, drainage and related works      

·         Preparing project proposals, project profiles including costing of projects      

·         Evaluating proposals and prepare implementation schedules      

·         Must be willing to work outside of regular working hours if required

Qualifications & Experience      

·         University degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent      

·         Postgraduate studies in Hydraulic/Environmental or Sanitary Engineering or related field would be an asset      

·         Proficient in the use of design and other software including Microsoft Office, Auto CAD and Water/Hydraulic modelling software     

·         Registration as a Professional Engineer ( or eligibility to be registered) would be an asset      

·         Minimum eight (8) years experience in Civil Engineering and design activities
