Main Responsibilities
• Prepare assigned bakery items according to company instructions and specifications.
• Maintain product levels adhering to procedures in place.
• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment in a sanitary manner at all times.
• Clean and care ovens and utensils used.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Technical skills in preparation and handling of all types of bakery products.
• Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays and late shifts.
• Ability to stand for long hours.

Educational Qualifications
• Certificate or diploma from HEART Trust/NTA or other vocational training organization.
• Working experience in a bakery or similar production environment.
• General knowledge of pastry production.
• A valid Food Handlers’ permit.
