The CIB is now inviting applications for an Administrative Assistant
The Coffee Industry Board (CIB) is a statutory body reporting to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and is mandated to encourage the development of the Jamaican coffee industry, promote the welfare of persons engaged in the industry and protect the quality and integrity of Jamaican coffee.
The successful candidate is required to effect organization, coordination and management of activities related to the Human Resource Management functions, through efficient administrative support and to deliver superior customer service to employees in accordance with the Board’s standards.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, experience and competencies:-
- Four (4) CXC subjects at the General Proficiency level, including English Language
- Diploma in Administrative Management or Secretarial Studies from a recognized institution
- Certified Professional Secretaries Designation
- Advanced word processing skills
- Well developed written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility to accommodate change and workload variations
- Ability to accurately transcribe and prepare Minutes
- At least three (3) years experience in the performance of responsible administrative work, preferably in a medium to large sized organization.
