The Jamaica Civil Service Association is inviting suitably qualified individuals to apply for the post of General Secretary.

The JCSA is the premier Public Sector Trade Union in Jamaica and the Caribbean offering industrial relations and other support to members of the organization since 1919.

The successful applicant will be charged with the responsibility of:

• Implementing the strategic direction of the Association
• Increasing membership growth and retention
• Managing the day to day affairs of the Association
• The ideal candidate should hold the potential to be seconded to the JCSA.

Also, the candidate must possess the following:

• A minimum of a 1st degree in Public Administration, Management or any other equivalent qualification
• Verifiable experience or certification in industrial relations
• A minimum of five (5) years senior management experience in the Public Sector
