Tortuga International, a subsidiary of Jamaica Producers Group, is the manufacturer, marketer and distributor of one of the Caribbean’s leading tourist souvenir items, the Tortuga Rum Cake, invites suitable candidates to apply for the following position: Management Accountant (Jamaica & Cayman)
The Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and managing the accounts for a manufacturing and trading entities and must provide reporting and analytical support to the Head of Manufacturing and Operations Manager as well as Group Financial Controller and CEO.
Key Competencies and Special Requirements:
• ACCA Level II with 3 - 5 years’ experience in Accounting at a senior level, in a Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles IFRS. Operating knowledge of the applicable local regulations governing areas related to responsibilities of the job
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem– solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
• Having a working knowledge of SAP is beneficial
• Proven leadership and communication skills
