Medium size food and beverage plant seeks PRODUCTION MANAGER

Duties include: 

1. Responsible for the efficient and effective production of several well-known brands
2. Development and implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices and other relevant Quality Systems.
3. Manage the maintenance of plant and machinery
4. Work with other departments to achieve objectives
5. Monitor and analyze production data to inform decisions and achieve goals
6. Report regularly on areas of responsibilty

The successful candidate is required to have: 

1. Tertiary level education in one of the following: Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering
2. Three (3) years’ experience in a managerial post preferable in a food/ beverage plant
3. A working knowledge of GMP, microbiology and/or HACCP an asset
4. Self-motivated and able to multi-task
5. Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, Team oriented, Results oriented
