Bursar - Cumberland High School

The Board of Management of Cumberland High School invites applications to fill the post of Bursar

The Incumbent must:         

• possess ACCA Level 2, or a First Degree in Accounting/Finance & Banking/Business         
• have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity         
• have knowledge of the FAA Act and Staff Orders for the Government of Jamaica.         
• have working knowledge of modern accounting software, preferably QuickBooks          be customer-service oriented, detail and deadline-oriented         
• be able to use initiative         
• be a team player        
• have excellent planning, organisational, problem-solving and communication (oral and written) skills       
• be proficient in the use of computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.         
• be able to maintain confidentiality
