The Embassy of Brazil needs a Commercial Officer

Applicants should possess:   

• Bachelor degree, especially in the field of economics, foreign trade or equivalent;   
• Strong IT skills: good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;   
• Ability to elaborate market research and facilitate business relations between Jamaican and Brazilian companies;   
• Handle trade enquiries and conduct market scan;   
• Experience in the field of Foreign Trade;   
• Excellent oral and written command of English and a good knowledge of Portuguese;   
• Applicant should be a citizen or a legal resident in Jamaica and has legal permission to work.

• Practical problem solving skills;   
• Good organizational and inter-personal skills;   
• Ability to work with set targets;   
• Ability to work as part of a team;   
• Ability to understand, produce and analyze statistics.
