Food & Beverage Service Manager

The Tryall Club invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of: Food & Beverage Service Manager

Organizational Competencies Required:

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and possesses the ability to work well with a dynamic, customer-focused team. The incumbent will be responsible to supervise all Food & Beverage Service outlets at the Club and will be required to maintain a high standard of service quality.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food, beverage and formal dining service 
  • Strong administrative, supervisory, budgeting, cost control and inventory skills
  • Very strong member and guest service focus 
  • Demonstrated abilities to lead, motivate, and train staff to exceed required standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Effective organizing and time management skills 
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale 
  • High level of computer literacy
Education and Experience: 
  • Degree /Diploma in Food & Beverage Management or Equivalent 
  • Minimum of five year’s experience at supervisory/management level in food & beverage service (must include bartending)
