Grace Kennedy Seeks to recruit a suitably qualified candidate for the position of: Junior Corporate Planner
Reporting to the Manager - Corporate Planning & Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical and implementation support for Grace Kennedy’s identification and execution of strategic initiatives; including mergers and acquisitions (M&As), joint ventures and new business venture projects.
The responsibilities of the incumbent include the following:
- Evaluate projects and major strategic initiatives
- Carry out research projects and valuation analyses as assigned
- Assist with M & A transactions and other special projects as required
- Maintain research facilities to ensure fast and effective access to key analytical data
- Complete the monthly tracking of strategic initiatives.
Key Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent qualification; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years’ professional experience in financial analysis, public accountancy, internal audit, management consulting or strategic/corporate planning
- Significant progress towards Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be an asset
