Procurement Officer - The Early Childhood Commission

The Early Childhood Commission (ECC) an agency of the Ministry of Education with responsibility to regulate the operation of Early Childhood Institutions, is seeking to identify a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the following vacant post: Procurement Officer (GMG/AM 4)

The Procurement Officer is responsible for planning and coordinating the systematic execution of procedures for the timely and cost-effective procurement of services, equipment and materials on behalf of the Early Childhood Commission, in accordance with Government of Jamaica Procurement Policies and Procedures, agreements with donors and generally accepted public/ethical policies.

The incumbent will work with members of the senior management team to develop and implement the organization’s procurement strategy and procedures with the aim of obtaining the best value and achieving cost efficiencies.
