Massy Distribution (Jamaica) Limited Ltd. is one of the leading distribution companies in Jamaica, having been in existence for over 80 years representing popular international brands of pharmaceutical and fast moving consumer goods (FMCGs). The company is also a member of the Caribbean conglomerate Massy Group, with businesses in retailing and distribution, energy, manufacturing, real estate, finance, and automotive and industrial equipment.
The POSITION:
Hospitality Channel Sales Representative
The individual will manage and grow an established customer base in the hospitality industry, primarily in the Western parishes, in addition to being the primary liaison between the company and the assigned hotels. The individual will be responsible for generating sales through the servicing of present and potential accounts, as well as achieving the profit objectives. Critical to this role are the responsibilities of managing receivables and the development of an excellent customer relationship.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Diploma/Associate Degree in Marketing/Sales or a related management discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling of FMCG with a track record of success, ideally in the
- Hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Unquestionable character, integrity, and work ethic
- An orientation to strategic thinking, must be results oriented and pro-active.
- A motor vehicle in an excellent working condition
